Dave Watts has been a licensed pharmacist since graduating in 2007 from the Doctorate of Pharmacy Program at Rutgers University. Throughout his rotational and early professional years, he excelled in various clinical settings, including the University Medical Center at Princeton, Hackensack University Medical Center, and St. Peter’s University Medical Center. Dave was tasked to lead the post-merger integration of regional pharmacy chain Duane Reade, with Fortune 50 retail chain, Walgreens Co, prior to being a founding principal at BOOM Pharmacy. Over the years, he has combined his core clinical foundation with his experiences in organizing and driving well-trained teams to provide the highest level of customer-focused service. Most recently, Dave has been actively involved with many public health issues that affect the local communities in the South Bronx, constantly working in collaboration with various organizations like BronxWorks to improve medication access, compliance, and overall health outcomes for these highly-marginalized communities.
